Stern Show media producer turned fashion correspondent JD Harmeyer was a busy man on Tuesday morning as he dissected the wildest, hottest, and most exciting outfits at the 2025 Met Gala for Howard and his listeners before also weighing in on everything from the “it’s giving” phenomenon to umbrellas as accessories.
First, he unveiled his Top 5 looks of the evening with a shocking list that included not only rapper Megan Thee Stallion, pop star Sabrina Carpenter, actress Sydney Sweeney, and 2019 Stern Show guest Demi Moore but also Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow.
“He’s my king,” JD gushed of his favorite football team’s QB. “Joe Burrow, I love you.”
JD’s commentary then took a turn for the meta, as he weighed in on how other fashion correspondents had covered the mega-popular fashion event. “Whenever they’re reviewing these people’s outfits, they’re saying, ‘It’s giving this, it’s giving that,’” JD complained before playing a “giving” montage for Howard.
“It’s giving me a headache,” Howard laughed.
